Dr. George Reynolds
Dr. George Reynolds graduated from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1977 as a Phi Beta Kappa. He is currently employed with TrustCare Heart Clinic in Ridgeland, MS, and specializes in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. He is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and ABIM - Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Reynolds is also affiliated with the American College of Cardiology, American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Sanjib D Shrestha
Dr. Sanjib D Shrestha, a native of Nepal, received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Pune University in Pune, India. He completed an internship at Command Hospital in Calcutta and completed a residency at NYU Downtown Hospital Department of Medicine in New York.
Following his residency, Dr. Shrestha completed a fellowship for the Department of Geriatric Medicine at The Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Shrestha is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Shrestha joined TrustCare in 2017 at TrustCare’s urgent clinic location on Lake Harbour in Ridgeland and moved to TrustCare Heart Clinic in 2019.
Before joining TrustCare, Dr. Shrestha was the Medical Director for the Emergency Medicine Department and the Chief of Staff for Merit Hospital in Canton. From 2008 to 2010, he was a staff physician with Southern Virginia Medical Center and the eight years prior to that he was a staff physician at Madison County Medical Center and Medical Director for Madison County Nursing Home. Dr. Shrestha also held a position with Kathmandu Nursing Home in Nepal and was the Senior Medical Director for the U.N. Peacekeeping Mission in Lebanon.
Dr. Shrestha lives in Madison with his wife and has two daughters.
Kate Totty, NP
Kate Totty believes prevention is paramount in caring for her cardiac patients and aims to deliver the highest level of care. A native Mississippian, she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women in 2004 and began her nursing career in the Intensive Care Unit. After discovering a passion for cardiology, Kate transferred into the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Following a two-year stint in research at University Hospital in Christchurch, New Zealand, Kate returned home to Mississippi to further her studies and earned a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women in 2013. After being the sole Cardiac Nurse Practitioner for a local non-profit hospital, Kate decided to move into a clinic setting and started with TrustCare Heart in 2016 alongside George Reynolds. Kate is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is an active member of the local chapter of American Heart Association.
