Dr. Kristi Trimm is a board-certified family medicine physician whose practice areas include primary and urgent care. As Medical Director, Dr. Trimm oversees the clinical operations of TrustCare clinics in Mississippi and Alabama. This includes coordinating teams of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants and non-clinical staff to ensure the overall patient care goals for these facilities are being achieved.
Dr. Trimm earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from The University of Tulsa in 2004 and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from The Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2009. She completed her family medicine residency at The University of Missouri - Kansas City in 2012.
Dr. Trimm will be joining TrustCare in January 2023. Prior to TrustCare, she practiced at Merit Health Family Medicine in Madison, MS. She also serves as an associate clinical professor at The University of Mississippi Medical Center Family Medicine. Dr. Trimm and her husband reside in Madison, MS, with their two children. Her hobbies include traveling, reading and cooking.

Megan Washington, D.O.

Dr. Megan Washington is a board-certified pediatrician whose practice areas include primary care and urgent care for children ranging in age from newborn through college.
Dr. Megan Washington is a board-certified pediatrician whose practice areas include primary care and urgent care for children ranging in age from newborn through college. She has a special interest in infant and child sleep concerns, breast feeding, ADHD, and behavior issues. Dr. Washington earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Comparative Literature from The University of Georgia in 2004 and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from The Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2010. She completed her pediatric training at Saint Louis University/Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Washington joined TrustCare Kids in 2021. Prior to TrustCare, she practiced at Merit Health Pediatrics in Flowood, Mississippi. She's is married to Dr. Chad Washington, a neurosurgeon at The University of Mississippi Medical Center, and they reside in Madison with their three sons. Her hobbies include photography, gardening, cooking and spending time with family.

Tamina McMillan, M.D.

Dr. Tamina McMillan is a board-certified pediatrician with over 20 years of experience working with underserved populations in Las Vegas, NV, and Jackson, MS. She currently serves as a pediatric urgent care physician at the TrustCare Kids Crossgates location.
Dr. Tamina McMillan is a board-certified pediatrician with over 20 years of experience working with underserved populations in Las Vegas, NV, and Jackson, MS. She currently serves as a pediatric urgent care physician at the TrustCare Kids Crossgates location. Dr. McMillan earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Hollins University and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Meharry Medical College. She completed her pediatric residency in Las Vegas, where she later helped build the pediatric department at Nevada Health Centers, Nevada’s largest federally qualified community health center.
Dr. McMillan’s expertise includes pediatric primary care, with a special focus on underserved children, and she has demonstrated strong leadership in both clinical and administrative roles throughout her career.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. McMillan has completed Physician Leadership training with the Studer Group. Her passions include practicing Spanish, weightlifting, baking, cooking global cuisine, and embracing joy in life.

Jennifer Ellzey, M.D.

Dr. Ellzey is dedicated to meeting each child where they are—fostering trust, supporting families, and delivering personalized, compassionate care for all children at every stage of development. As a board-certified pediatrician, she provides comprehensive primary care and enjoys building long-term relationships with families to support their children’s health and well-being.
In addition to her general pediatric practice, Dr. Ellzey has a special interest and advanced training in developmental and behavioral pediatrics, including autism evaluation and management. With over a decade of experience, she is committed to quality improvement and medical education, mentoring future pediatricians and advancing best practices in care. Dr. Ellzey’s bilingual fluency in Spanish allows her to serve a diverse range of families in the Gluckstadt community with warmth, respect, and understanding.
